Job Summary
TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION YOU MUST HAVE AN ACTIVE TS/SCI W/ FULL SCOPE POLYGRAPH SECURITY CLEARANCE (U.S. CITIZENSHIP REQUIRED)
- Configure manage and troubleshoot Linux and Windows operating systems. Installs/loads operating system software troubleshoot and maintain integrity and configures network components along with implementing operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performance. Provides support for implementation troubleshooting and maintenance of Information Technology (IT) systems.
Provide support for the dispatch system and hardware problems and will remain involved in the resolution process. Optimize system operations and resource utilization and perform system capacity analysis and planning.
Analyze and resolve complex problems associated with server hardware applications and software integration. Demonstrated experience in planning and leading Systems Engineering efforts is required.
Must be proficient with troubleshooting in a Linux Red Hat environment. Extensive experience with VMWare
Demonstrated experience with modern automation/configuration tools such as Splunk or Ansible
- STE/STN compliance and Ansible
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
Shall have a minimum of Twenty (20) years experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope type and complexity is required.
Demonstrated experience in planning and leading Systems Engineering efforts is required.
DESIRED EXPERIENCE:
Five (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelors degree
EDUCATION:
A Bachelors degree in System Engineering Computer Science Information Systems Engineering Science Engineering Management or related professional engineering discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
Compensation: We are committed to providing fair and competitive compensation. The salary range for this position is $78000 to $250000 per year. This range reflects the compensation offered across the locations where we hire. The exact salary will be determined based on the candidates work location specific role skill set and level of expertise.
