Job Summary

System Administrator - Enterprise Infrastructure - 5 yrs of Experience - TS/SCI w/Poly Required

Halogen Engineering is looking for an Enterprise Infrastructure Support Systems Administrator on our team you will provide system administration solutions to meet required capabilities and you will create bills of materials network designs and diagrams and other documentation for new and updated installations. You will also work with network storage and server personnel to define new or modified solutions to complex problems; respond to requests for new systems to meet capacity and user requirements; and determine required power space cooling and funding to meet these goals.

Salary Range


The projected compensation range for this position is 150K- 155K (annualized USD).

Salary is determined by various factors including but not limited to location the individuals particular combination of education knowledge skills competencies and experience as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements



Requirements

Capabilities/Experience Required

  • Bachelors degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university and five (5) years experience as a SA in programs and contracts of similar scope type and complexity is required. Five (5) years of additional SA experience may be substituted for a bachelors degree.
  • DoD 8570 compliance with Information Assurance Management (IAM) Level I or higher is required.
  • Must have at least one (1) year of demonstrated experience in Modern operating systems and network architectures.
  • Must have at least one (1) year of demonstrated experience in certification and accreditation architecture development and design Risk Assessments and IA Metrics gathering.
  • Ability to optimize system operation and resource utilization and perform system capacity analysis and planning.
  • Ability to break down complex problem space formulate technical strategies build action plans and track progress against established baselines to resolve technical challenges and meet customer expectations.
  • Configuring and managing Linux Unix and Windows operating systems and installing/loading operating systems software troubleshooting maintaining integrity of and configuring network components along with implementing operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performance.
  • Managing virtual servers through VMWare and similar hypervisor products.
  • Position requires TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
