The System Manager- Nursing Programs is responsible for oversight of nursing services and for development of nursing services across the agency. This includes administrative direction support and consultation to MHMR nurses focusing on an efficient competent and cost-effective nursing care delivery system which produces positive patient outcomes. This position provides clinical expertise and direction in areas impacting the quality and safety of nursing care delivered establish standards of Nursing Practice in compliance with the Texas Nursing Practice Act and participates and collaborates with community partners in promotion and development of nursing and health care initiatives in Tarrant County.

Minimum Qualifications

Minimum Education: Bachelors Degree

Defined Education: Nursing

Preferences: Masters Degree or higher Nurse Executive Certification; Prefer experience with Intellectually and developmentally disabled mental health issues public health.

Substitutions: Masters Degree and three (3) years experience

Years Experience: Five (5) years

Defined Experience: Local mental health authority Local Intellectual and Developmentally Disabled Authority. (LMHA/ LIDDA) CCBHC Hospital Skilled nursing facility Public Health Clinics.

License/Certifications: Registered Nurse License in the State of Texas

Supervisory Experience: Two (2) years
