Swing Shift Machine Operator
Job Summary
Autonomy Staffing is hiring Swing Shift Machine Operators to join a well-established manufacturing client in the steel wire industry. This is a full-time opportunity with a stable growth-oriented company offering strong pay progression and long-term career potential.
Shift Hours: 2:30 PM 10:30 PM or 3:00 PM 11:00 PM Monday through Friday (with overtime opportunities)
Pay: Starting at $23/hour with an automatic increase to $26/hour after 90 days
What Youll Do:
- Set up operate and monitor production machinery to manufacture steel wire products
- Load raw materials and unload finished product
- Perform routine quality checks throughout your shift to ensure product meets specifications
- Make minor adjustments to equipment as needed to maintain production flow
- Troubleshoot basic machine issues and report any concerns to the shift lead or maintenance team
- Maintain a clean safe and organized work area
- Follow all safety protocols and PPE requirements
Requirements:
- Prior machine operating experience required (manufacturing production or industrial setting)
- Comfortable working 50 hours per week including occasional Saturdays as needed
- Able to work in a dirty/industrial environment around metals dust and heavy machinery
- Able to perform physical work standing for extended periods lifting up to 50 lbs bending twisting and reaching throughout the shift
- Reliable transportation and strong attendance record
- Able to pass pre-employment background check drug screen and physical
- Authorized to work in the United States
