About the Role:

The Swimming Pool Service Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring that residential and commercial swimming pools are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness safety and functionality. This position involves regular inspections cleaning and chemical balancing to provide a safe swimming environment for clients. Technicians will also troubleshoot pool equipment ensuring that all systems are operating efficiently. The end result of this role is to enhance customer satisfaction through reliable service and expert knowledge of pool maintenance. Ultimately the technician contributes to the overall enjoyment and safety of pool users by maintaining pristine pool conditions year-round.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid drivers license and reliable transportation.

Description:

  • Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of swimming pools including skimming vacuuming and brushing surfaces.
  • Test and balance pool water chemistry adding necessary chemicals to ensure safe swimming conditions.
  • Inspect pool equipment such as pumps filters heaters and lighting systems.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns regarding pool maintenance.
  • Document service visits and maintain accurate records of work performed and chemicals used.

Skills:

Attention to detail is crucial as technicians must accurately test water and balance chemicals to prevent health hazards. Customer service skills are also important as technicians interact with clients and must communicate effectively to address their needs. A typical work week is as follows.
Mondays- Misc day such as filters one time cleanings and other periodic jobs
Tuesday-Friday- Route days consisting of servicing the pools in your designated area according to day of the week
Our start start times vary from 6:30-7:30 AM and end time is 3:00-4:00 PM (or when you finish your tasks for the day)
These start and end times accommodate for a 30 minute unpaid lunch break if your shift takes longer than 5 hours.
