Our aim is to coordinate engineering work that supports SDS decisioning across all the lines of business we support. Establish strategy and drive prioritization of engineering work in alignment with long-term roadmap vision balancing impact cost resourcing timeline and riskn Communicate strategy success metrics and progress to both technical teams and up to VPsn Lead programs from inception through delivery and ongoing monitoring maintaining alignment across engineering and business stakeholdersn Build and maintain relationships across SDS u0026 partner team senior leadership to ensure alignment and drive outcomesn Drive opportunities for process improvementsn Manage and propose business-critical metrics in close partnership with technical teams ensuring operational health and performancen Get into the details on technical projects and critical metrics; dive deep with the team to solve complex challengesn Preempt and mitigate business and technical risks; bring structure and clarity to ambiguous situations with competing prioritiesn Operate with full autonomy exercising sound judgment and knowing when to escalate or seek guidance

BS in any analytical quantitative or technical field (engineering math computer science finance analytics statistics or similar)n10 years of experience structuring and leading large cross-functional technical or analytical projects/programsnExperience leading business discovery simplifying problems extracting key information and proposing innovative analytic approaches - including in areas outside own core expertisenProven ability to drive change through positive influence of co-workers leadership and business partnersnAbility to learn and provide in-depth evaluations of complex engineering and analytic issuesnExpert at using data to present advocate for and prioritize among solutionsnStrong interpersonal skills with the ability to connect and develop close relationships across SDS u0026 partner team senior leadership including engineering teamsnSkillfully manages conflicting priorities ensures all perspectives are heard and delivers sound recommendations despite ambiguitynClear confident communicator who can adapt between technical detail and VP storytellingnExpert at influencing through metrics vision and collaborative leadership

Previous experience in engineering data analysis machine learning or operations would be beneficial but is not requirednExperience designing and maintaining engineering management systems intake workflows prioritization frameworks reporting cadences and operational review structuresnExperience coordinating across matrixed organizations where the EPM role spans multiple teamsnInquisitive mindset with a drive for continued self-improvement and development of new skills
