SW Engineer I(f/t)
Job Description:
- Install Authentic software on systems including testing integration support and problem resolution.
- Adapt to individual client requirements.
- Analyze and capture client and internal requirements.
- Develop and design functional solutions.
- Unit integration and testing
- Documentation of the development process
- Implement analysis and capture of business requirements/processes.
- Configure messages and interfaces
- Extend business logic/rules.
- Manipulate data in the implementation process.
- Deploy the application into the client environment via consultancy training systems testing and certification with external bodies (e.g. Visa MasterCard Link)
- Support
- Receive and handle raised issues post-deployment either as part of warranty or ongoing maintenance.
- Provide support via incident recording initial investigation and clarification and incident resolution.
- Patch production and deployment
- Ensure seamless integration with existing infrastructure.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree or foreign equivalent* in Computer Science or a related technical field and demonstrated knowledge** in the following:
Building Java web applications
Java programming language
Java script
Microsoft SQL Server database
GitHub repository knowledge
CI CD Pipeline
Repository Management
PowerShell scripting
REST APIs
Ability to write automation tasks
Data Structures and Algorithms
Design patterns knowledge and modelling
Object-oriented programming concepts
Ability to write unit tests
Experience in full software development lifecycle including requirement analysis design development testing deployment and operations
Java Spring and Hibernate web application framework
*Any combination of education that has been evaluated by a professional credentials evaluation service to be the equivalent of an U.S. degree will be accepted.
**Knowledge can be demonstrated through coursework training or experience.
