Level 1:Estimated hourly base pay:$18.27(minimum) - $24.04(midpoint) - $29.33(maximum)
Level 2: Estimated hourly base pay: $21.15(minimum) - $27.40(midpoint) - $33.65(maximum)

Woodwards is looking to bring on skilled motivated and driven Operations Technicians that are ready to showcase their talent. Join our amazing 2nd shift (Mon-Fri 2:54pm to 11:24pm OR Mon-Thurs 3pm to 1:30am) production teams at our Loves Park Campus where innovation precision and quality are at the heart of everything we do. This role will provide support and operations in products such as servo valves actuators fuel metering units specialty valves or pumps. Training shift will be on 1st shift Mon-Fri 7am - 3:30pm for the first 2 weeks
Training starting week 3 will be on 1st shift M-Th 4:30am-3pm
Key Responsibilities:
Operations: Follows documented procedures toaccurately and efficiently produce products using specified tools and equipment. Flexes and supports the full product line in various processes/ capacities.
Process:Observesand records key process variables to ensure consistency and quality in operations. Accurately logs daily operations and resolves or escalates concerns. Follows standard operating procedures.
Quality: Conducts inspections and tests to verify the accuracy and functionality of products and records andmaintainsdata per operating standards.
Organization & Cleanliness: Adheres to 5S principles by keeping workstations clean organized and free of unnecessary items. Follows established guidelines to ensure tools materials and equipment areproperly storedandmaintained.
Safety Mindset: Adheres to all established safety protocols procedures and regulatory requirements;maintainsmindfulness of self and surrounding workareato promote a safe working environment.

Technical Capability: Understands and follows basic technical instructions and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Critical Thinking:Identifiesgap-to-standard and resolves or escalates them per standard processes/procedures.
Mechanical Aptitude:Demonstratesbasic understanding of mechanical systems and tools and basic equipment safely and effectively. Can produce productsand mayperform basic setups of equipment.
Team Communication: Communicates effectively with team members and supervisors to support workflow and escalate immediate issues. Adherence to Woodwards Core Values.
Time Management: Effectively manages time to complete assigned tasks within established schedules. Adheres to individualschedule.

Additional Requirements:
Moderate physical activity requires agility and dexterity including walking standing or bending; and lifting or moving is performed in an area with moderate risk or discomfort that may require special safety precautions such as wearing protective clothing or gear. May be required to pass Near Vision and/or Color Vision examinations.
Successful candidates typically have:
Previous assembly experience preferred
Proven mechanical aptitude
Experience in a manufacturing industry performing assembly and/or testing in on similar components
Proficiency with and in using a variety of hand tools and inspection and measurement equipment
Strong knowledge and/or capability to read and interpret mechanical blueprints drawings and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing
