We are seeking a talented individual to join our Agriculture segment team at Guy Carpenter. This role will be based in Chicago. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

This role leads client growth strategic broking and team performance across the Agriculture segment. The individual will partner closely with practice leaders carriers clients advisors and sales professionals to deliver innovative solutions strengthen relationships and support revenue growth and retention goals.

We will count on you to:

• Oversee the procurement of new clients and establish relationships to generate revenue

• Lead strong relationships with practice leaders carriers clients advisors and sales professionals to better serve clients

• Oversee the design and development of competitive and innovative insurance and reinsurance products that develop new clients and retain existing clients

• Drive strategic broking initiatives to ensure the effectiveness of large broker teams within assigned areas and support the most effective and efficient operation of the center

• Train mentor and oversee performance management and compensation planning for multiple departments coordinate team workload and ensure appropriate staffing to meet client needs

• Exercise a high level of independence and judgment in managing to expected results set by senior leadership and ensure accountability for financial and operational goals

What you need to have:

• Proven experience leading client growth revenue generation and retention initiatives in a brokerage insurance or reinsurance environment

• Strong leadership experience managing teams including performance management mentoring staffing and workload coordination

• Demonstrated ability to evaluate financial statements and assess complex client needs across industries

• Experience working with contract documents bond forms and banking terms and conditions in a surety or related environment

Marsh is committed to hybrid work which includes the flexibility of working remotely and the collaboration connections and professional development benefits of working together in the office. All Marsh colleagues are expected to be in their local office or working onsite with clients at least three days per week. Office-based teams will identify at least one anchor day per week on which their full team will be together in person.

The applicable base salary range for this role is $175000 to $275000.

The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience skills training location certifications education and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case addition to the base salary this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
