Survey Technician

R. Joe Harris & Associates Inc. is looking for a Survey Technician to join our team and support our licensed surveyors and civil engineers in producing accurate detailed survey drawings for a variety of land development and infrastructure projects.

What Youll Do

• Draft boundary topographic ALTA/NSPS land title surveys as-builts and construction surveys using AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Import process and organize field survey data.
• Prepare plats maps and legal exhibits that meet company client and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with field crews surveyors and engineers to ensure data accuracy and drawing quality.
• Apply survey standards layering and CAD templates consistently across projects.

What Were Looking For

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Strong understanding of survey data coordinates and legal descriptions.
• Attention to detail organization and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a team-oriented environment.
