Survey Tech Greenville, SC

Sparta Networking is supporting a leading construction company in hiring an experienced Survey Technician to assist with land surveying operations in a fast-paced environment. This is a hands-on role focused on supporting field data collection equipment operation and accurate project layout.

• Assist the Survey Crew Chief with daily field survey operations
• Set up and operate survey equipment including GPS total stations and data collectors
• Collect and record accurate field data for construction layout boundary and topographic surveys
• Assist with staking measurements and site layout
• Maintain and safely transport survey equipment
• Communicate effectively with crew members and project teams
• Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety standards

• Experience in land surveying or construction support roles preferred
• Familiarity with survey equipment such as GPS and total stations
• Ability to read basic plans and follow directions from crew leadership
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team-oriented environment
• Ability to work flexible hours including overtime when needed

• Physically demanding role including walking long distances lifting up to 60 lbs and working on uneven terrain
• Exposure to outdoor conditions including heat cold and inclement weather
• Use of PPE required at all times
