Position Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Survey Manager to oversee and manage the scheduling communication and coordination of survey crews(s) on a large-scale project with an estimated duration of ten (10) years. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in land surveying (both field and office) excellent communication skills and the ability to manage large scale projects and field crews efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate daily scheduling of field survey crews and office support staff.
Serve as the primary liaison between project managers clients and field crews.
Review work orders proposals and project requirements to ensure field readiness.
Track project timelines and ensure timely delivery of survey services.
Maintain detailed records of work progress crew assignments and equipment use.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise during the course of survey operations.
Assist with drafting task orders and organizing project files.
Position will require the candidate to work both onsite and offsite
Requirements
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in land surveying.
Strong knowledge of survey terminology processes and documentation.
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word Excel Outlook); experience with software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or Trimble Business Center.
Ability to communicate effectively with clients field staff and internal teams.
Valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
