Job Summary

IMEG is hiring a Survey Field Technician in Nashua NH to support land surveying field projects through accurate field data collection and survey this role you will work under the leadership of a Crew Chief Senior Crew Chief or Office Coordinator applying survey principles methods and techniques across assigned projects.

Principal Responsibilities

  • Collect field data for land surveys including boundary topographic and construction stakeout work
  • Support day-to-day field operations on assigned survey projects
  • Operate maintain and handle survey equipment data collection tools and other geodetic and reality capture equipment
  • Set points on construction stakeout projects
  • Perform quality checks using assigned survey equipment
  • Download project data
  • Maintain professional and productive working relationships with clients and coworkers
  • Operate a company vehicle and observe safety and security procedures

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Associates degree or certificate in Land Surveying or Engineering preferred
  • 1 year of experience minimum required 2 preferred in the land surveying or construction industry preferred
  • Ability to read and interpret operating procedures safety documents and maintenance instructions
  • Ability to read surveys and engineering drawings
  • Knowledge of modern survey equipment devices and methods
  • Problem-solving techniques
  • Ability to work independently as well as proactively collaborate as part of a team
  • Possesses basic oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to professionally represent IMEG
  • Valid drivers license with ability to be insured by IMEG carrier; must consent to a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) background check
  • Proficient in Microsoft and MS Office Suite including but not limited to Word Excel and Outlook
  • Ability to travel with occasional overnight stays
