Surveillance Officer

Casino Surveillance Officer monitors casino operations using cameras and surveillance systems to ensure a safe fair and lawful environment. They identify suspicious activity preventing fraud or theft and ensuring compliance with gaming regulations.

• Operates a closed-circuit television (CCTV) system tomonitorcasino activities and prepare reports and logs.
• Operates software to save and preserve video coverage.
• Presents evaluations of any observed illegal activity to the proper departments and makes necessary recommendations.
• Make recommendations and enforce state and federal regulations. Will communicate with security and other departments using phones and radios.
• Will follow policies to ensure safety and asset protection. Has knowledge of all slot/gamesprocedures and Title 31.
• Maintains all logs and ensures accuracy of log entries.
• Maintains confidentiality of all Hotel/Casino information.
• Reports all incidentsobservedon shift totheLeadership.
• Comply withcompany regulations policies and procedures.
• Act as a role model to other employees and alwayspresentsoneself as a credit to the Company andencouragesothers to do the same.
• Performs all other related and compatible duties as assigned.

• High school diploma GED or comparable experience preferred.
• Prior experience in a security casino or surveillance-related field is preferred.
• Must be able to sit or stand for long hoursobservingnumerable CCTV screens.
• Must be able to work and maneuver in close quarters.
• Must be able to respond calmly in crisis and stressful situations.
• Must be able to see and also remember the specific details of incidents and to compose clearaccurate and concise reports.
• Must be able tooperatethe following equipment: Monitors switches computers controllers and cameras.
• Must be able to give court testimony when necessary andwritedetailed reports.
• Must be able to read writespeakand understand English.
• Ability tomaintain extremelyconfidential information.
• Observe gaming tables and slot machines to ensure fair play and accurate payout
• Review video footage to resolve disputes or investigate incidents
• Coordinate with casino security staff and management when issues arise
• Ensure compliance with gaming laws internal policies and procedures
• Ability to respond calmly and make rational decisions in stressful situations with co-workersguestsand vendors.
• Physically mobile with reasonable accommodations includingabilitytolift upto50lbs. and ability to push pull reach bend twist stoop and stack.
• Must be 19 years of age or older
• Proficient in English verbal and written
• Proficient with iOS devices
• Flexible to work various shifts weekends and holidays
