The Surgical Unit Clinical Coordinator RN will:

  • Coordinate daily clinical activities and workflow within the department.
  • Collaborate with physicians nurses and interdisciplinary team members to optimize care delivery.
  • Actively promote customer satisfaction as well as a positive work environment.
  • Assess plan implement and evaluate patient care activities consider growth and development factors appropriate to the age (Adults Geriatrics) in collaboration with the Nurse Manager.
  • Report any significant changes in the condition of the Unit any incidents and/or personnel problems.
  • Monitor quality safety and patient satisfaction indicators and support performance improvement initiatives.
  • Participate in incident review risk reduction and patient safety activities.
  • Support department leadership with audits reporting and operational projects.
  • Maintain knowledge of and is responsible for Nursing Quality Improvement activities on assigned shift.
  • Ensure compliance with hospital policies regulatory requirements and accreditation standards.
  • Assist with staffing scheduling and resource allocation to ensure safe patient care.
  • Serve as a clinical resource and mentor for staff.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing in the United States; BSN preferred.
  • Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of New Jersey.
  • Minimum of three (3) years experience in specialty.
  • BLS certification required as approved by the American Heart Association

Salary Range:47.28 - 75.64 USD

We offer competitive base rates that are determined by many factors including job-related work experience internal equity and industry-specific market data. In addition to base salary some positions may be eligible for clinical certification pay and shift differentials.

The salary range listed for exempt positions reflects full-time compensation and will be prorated based on employment status.
