Job Summary
Travel Surgical Technologist (Days)
Mobile Health Team Inc. is seeking an experienced Surgical Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Decorah IA 52101.
Contract Details
- Position is primarily 8 hour shifts Monday - Friday 7:00a - 3:30 pm. Hours may fluctuate slightly based on surgery case load (as early as 6:00am).
- Start Date: 6/22/2026
- Contract: 13 weeks
- Location: Decorah IA 52101
- Hourly Pay: $ 23.00
- Non-taxed Stipend: $1218.00
- Weekly Total Pay: $ 1908.00
- Weekend: includes on-call rotation approximately 1 night per every 2 week pay period and every 5th to 6th weekend.
- Holiday Call: rotation included.
- EMR Used: EPIC
Seeking a full-time contract for a Surgical Technologist for 13 weeks minimum. Location is in Decorah Iowa.
Surgical Technologists must be experienced in:
- General Surgery
- Orthopedics
- ENT
- OBGYN
- Podiatry
- Urology
- Dental
Key Responsibilities:
- Setting up the instruments and equipment that is required for the procedure
- Sterilizing equipment and taking an inventory to ensure there are enough supplies for surgery
- Preparing the patient for surgery
- Passing the Surgeon instruments and sterile supplies throughout the operation
- Taking a count of all surgical instruments and supplies prior to the operation
- Recounting surgical instruments and supplies at the end of the operation
- Maintaining an overall sterile environment throughout the surgery
Compensation:
- Weekly Pay (hourly) Non-taxed Stipend (if eligible)

Requirements
Minimum Requirements:
- Must have State of Iowa Mandatory reporter training
- Must have at least 1 year of CST experience
- Completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist program is required
- Surgical Technologist Certification preferred
- Must stay within 30 minutes of facility when on-call
- Must have current and valid American Heart Association BLS certification
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
- Willingness to participate in continuing education and training programs
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Strong communication professionalism and reliability
