As a Surgical Technologist you will play a vital role in supporting safe efficient and high quality surgical care. Working under the supervision of the RN you ll ensure surgeons and the surgical team have everything they need for successful procedures. Your responsibilities will include:Supporting the RN and surgical team by assisting with limited direct patient instruments supplies and equipment for surgical a strong understanding of the procedure being performed and anticipating the needs of the a sterile field is properly set up maintained and protected throughout the preparing and packaging instruments for disinfection and with room turnover between cases including cleaning and preparing the environment for the next patient safety standards and maintaining required clinical competencies based on scope and to AORN Recommended Practices and departmental policies and responsibility in time management resource use and supply as a collaborative and supportive team other duties as assigned.
