Surgical TechFacilitates physicians performance of invasive and therapeutic and diagnostic procedures. Handles the instruments supplies and equipment necessary during the surgical procedure. Ensures quality patient care during the operative procedure and is constantly monitoring the maintenance of the sterile field.

requirement:

Variable Shift 0630 - 1700; potential for 0900-1930 must have Ortho experience and MAJOR vascular experience a is self-scheduling for the tech. It usually avg 7 shift per month to include weekends. Weekday call starts a 5pm until 0630. Weekend call usually one per month. Sat and or Sun. can be broken and Work Experience:Associate Degree or Certificate of Program Completion in Surgical Technology: RequiredRelevant acute care experience: PreferredLicenses/Certifications:National Board of Surgical Technologists or Association of Surgical Technologists certified: PreferredCardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQIBLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy: Preferred
