A surgical technologist assists the surgical team before during and after procedures by preparing the operating room maintaining a sterile field and ensuring all necessary supplies and equipment are available. They pass surgical instrumentation to the surgeon during procedures and are able to proficiently assist with all surgical specialties and procedures without complications while maintaining patient safety and sterile technique.
