HireNow Staffing is recruiting an experienced surgical services RN for a management opportunity in Fredericksburg Virginia.
Previous management experience is not required. Strong Charge RNs Supervisors and comparable nursing leaders with direct-report responsibilities will be considered. Role Overview
Anticipated responsibilities include:
- Support daily operating room and surgical services operations.
- Provide direction coaching and support to nursing staff.
- Coordinate with surgeons anesthesia providers and other clinical teams.
- Support staffing assignments patient flow and department readiness.
- Promote safe nursing practice and adherence to hospital procedures.
- Address clinical and operational concerns through effective problem-solving.
- Participate in staff development and quality-improvement activities.

Required Qualifications
- At least two years of recent operating room/surgical services experience in an acute-care setting
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Current Virginia RN license or an applicable active multistate RN license authorizing practice in Virginia
- Current American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Providers or American Red Cross CPR as specified by the employer
- Active unencumbered RN licensure with no current or previous disciplinary action
- Availability for full-time days and rotating weekends
- Eligibility under the employers application-history restriction
Leadership pathway: Candidates do not need a previous manager title. Strong charge supervisory or comparable experience with direct reports is acceptable for consideration.
All RN licenses must be verified through Nursys for current and previous disciplinary actions. Under the employers submission criteria candidates with any nursing-license disciplinary history cannot be submitted.
Application-history restriction: Candidates must not have an active application in the hiring organizations same division within the previous six months. Eligibility will be reviewed before submission.

- Masters degree
