    • 11:00 AM 7:00 PM
  • Includes a 45-minute unpaid lunch break
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a service-related field required
  • Hospital or healthcare experience preferred
  • Experience with surgical instrument processing and endoscope reprocessing required
  • Knowledge of High-Level Disinfection (HLD) procedures required
Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Instrument Technician to support Surgical Services by ensuring the proper cleaning decontamination disinfection tracking and preparation of surgical instruments and endoscopic equipment. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of sterile processing standards infection prevention protocols and instrument handling procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Clean disinfect and prepare surgical instruments and endoscopic equipment for patient use
  • Perform high-level disinfection (HLD) procedures in accordance with established guidelines
  • Operate Automated Endoscope Reprocessors (AERs) and related equipment
  • Inspect instruments and equipment for cleanliness functionality and integrity
  • Maintain accurate documentation and tracking records for processed equipment
  • Ensure compliance with infection prevention regulatory and quality standards
  • Identify equipment issues and coordinate repairs or maintenance as needed
  • Support inventory management and instrument availability for surgical and procedural areas
  • Collaborate with clinical teams to ensure timely equipment readiness
