Position Highlights
Spencer Hospital is a rural hospitallocated in northwest Iowa employing over 500 employees. Positions at Spencer Hospital are not affiliated with Avera; however we collaborate to provide services to the communities we serve. Employment offers if accepted are exclusively with Spencer Hospital.
Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitize the surgical rooms after procedures are performed
- Floor care of surgical rooms
- Responsible for cleaning common areas of hospital waiting rooms restrooms offices conference rooms and within departments
- Maintains a clean and neat environment in working areas
- Participates in a cleaning activities as assigned
- Keeps assigned area and cleaning cartfully stocked with supplies and equipment
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent work history preferred
- Previous cleaning housekeeping or healthcare environmental services experience strongly preferred
- Ability to follow detailed cleaning procedures and safety protocols
Schedule:
- 64 hours a pay period (full-time benefit eligible)
- Mon-Fri 4 - 8 hour shifts per week
- 3p-11:30p - may consider a later start time
- Schedule may fluctuate based on the needs of the department
