Trinity Health IHA Medical Group is looking for a customer-focused Surgery Scheduler to join our this role you will serve as the first point of contact for patients providing support to providers by scheduling surgical procedures and meetings while helping create exceptional patient care.
What Youll Do:
- Schedule surgical procedures testing and pre-op appointments.
- Obtains insurance authorizations and oversees the management of consent forms for surgical procedures.
- Schedule confirm and reschedule appointments.
- Oversees Provider schedule templates and inputs monthly schedules.
- Collect payments and support accurate billing processes.
- Assist with patient communications paperwork and MyChart support.
- Maintain patient records and support day-to-day office operations.
General Requirements:
- EDUCATION: High School Diploma or equivalent training. Demonstrated proficiency performing all Medical Reception core functions.
- CREDENTIALS/LICENSURE: None
- MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 1 year of experience as a Surgery Scheduler or equivalent training or demonstrated proficient performing all Medical Reception core functions (check in check out and phones) of equivalent combination of experience education and training.
