Trinity Health IHA Medical Group is looking for a customer-focused Surgery Scheduler to join our this role you will serve as the first point of contact for patients providing support to providers by scheduling surgical procedures and meetings while helping create exceptional patient care. Provides leadership to Surgery Schedulers I and II. Contributes to work on pilots and projects preparing analyses and patient care coordination.

What Youll Do:

• Schedule surgical procedures testing and pre-op appointments.
• Obtains insurance authorizations and oversees the management of consent forms for surgical procedures.
• Schedule confirm and reschedule appointments.
• Oversees Provider schedule templates and inputs monthly schedules.
• Collect payments and support accurate billing processes.
• Assist with patient communications paperwork and MyChart support.
• Maintain patient records and support day-to-day office operations.
• Gathers data and analyzes scheduling efficiencies.
• Performs enhanced recovery and/of Surgical Home Coordination.

General Requirements:

• EDUCATION: High School Diploma or equivalent. Bachelors degree preferred.
• CREDENTIALS/LICENSURE: None
• MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Surgery Scheduler
