An exceptional leadership opportunity is available for an experienced healthcare operations leader to oversee a highly successful Joint Commission-accredited ambulatory surgery center in the Las Vegas area. The center specializes in Gastroenterology and features three modern procedure rooms equipped with advanced technology that supports efficient high-quality outpatient surgical care.

This opportunity is well suited for candidates with Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) leadership experience or hospital surgical services leadership experience with strong ASC exposure.

Position Overview

The Surgery Center Administrator serves as the senior operational leader for the facility and is responsible for the overall success of the center including operations financial performance regulatory compliance physician partnerships quality improvement and employee engagement.

Working closely with physician owners executive leadership and the governing board the Administrator will drive strategic initiatives while ensuring the delivery of safe efficient and patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide executive leadership for all daily operations of the ambulatory surgery center
  • Foster strong relationships with physician partners the Governing Board and executive leadership
  • Ensure compliance with all federal state regulatory accreditation and patient safety standards
  • Develop and manage operating staffing and capital budgets
  • Monitor financial performance productivity and key operational metrics
  • Lead workforce planning employee engagement recruitment and performance management initiatives
  • Oversee physician credentialing medical staff coordination and contract management
  • Partner with physicians to enhance operational efficiency and patient satisfaction
  • Lead quality improvement infection prevention risk management and patient safety initiatives
  • Evaluate opportunities for service line growth and operational enhancements
  • Manage vendor relationships purchasing and contracted services
  • Prepare operational reports and present performance metrics to leadership and governing boards
Required Qualifications
  • Progressive healthcare leadership experience in an Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) or hospital surgical services environment
  • Demonstrated experience managing operations budgets staffing and financial performance
  • Strong understanding of regulatory compliance accreditation standards and quality improvement initiatives
  • Proven ability to build collaborative relationships with physicians and multidisciplinary teams
  • Excellent leadership communication and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Current leadership experience within an Ambulatory Surgery Center
  • Hospital Surgical Services leadership experience with significant ASC exposure
  • Experience working in a physician-owned or joint venture surgical center
  • Strong background in outpatient procedural services particularly Gastroenterology
  • Experience managing strategic growth physician partnerships and operational performance
