Job Summary
An established surgical hospital in Oklahoma City OK is seeking an experienced Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) to provide executive leadership for nursing and clinical services across a multi-campus organization. This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on detail-oriented leader who is passionate about quality safety operational excellence and patient-centered role offers a meaningful level of responsibility and influence. You will work closely with executive leadership physicians and clinical teams to shape care delivery strengthen quality and safety practices and support the development of nursing leaders and staff. Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will be an experienced CNO ACNO or high-level surgical services leader with a strong RN background and proven hospital leadership experience. Experience in for-profit or physician-owned environments is highly preferred. The successful candidate will be highly hands-on data-driven technologically savvy detail-oriented and committed to excellence. Strong systems thinking and a focus on continuous improvement are essential.
Qualifications
- 25 years of leadership experience
- Management experience required
- Masters degree required
- Strong RN background preferred
- Experience in surgical hospital or broader hospital leadership strongly preferred
Position Details
- Full-time
- Base salary: $120000$185000
- Benefits: Full

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic and operational leadership for all nursing and clinical departments
- Ensure safe effective and compliant patient care through evidence-based nursing practice
- Develop and manage nursing staffing models budgets and resource allocation
- Lead quality patient safety and performance improvement initiatives
- Partner with physicians executive leadership and the governing board on strategy and operations
- Establish and maintain policies procedures and standards of nursing practice
- Oversee talent development performance management and employee engagement
- Integrate current research and best practices into nursing care delivery
- Represent nursing services in medical staff executive and board meetings
