EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION TEACHER
WHO WE ARE:
The JCC Early Childhood School provides a high-quality age appropriate curriculum that encourages development curiosity imagination and school is available for children ages 6 weeks 5 years old. Our child care program is open to everyone regardless of race religion or ability and features a low child-teacher ratio. Positions available in multiple age groups.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Implement curriculum and activities which promote stimulation learning and fun.
- Assist with activity planning and preparation of materials and supplies for daily use.
- Create a warm fun and nurturing environment.
- Maintain a clean and safe classroom.
- Ensure compliance with licensing regulations and accreditation standards.
- Assist in any classroom in order to be in ratio when needed.
- Be highly mobile and physically able to easily engage in activities like standing for long periods walking bending stooping and sitting.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education and Experience
- Prior experience in a licensed childcare center or degree in Early Childhood Education a plus.
- Maintain First Aid and CPR Certifications; Communicable Disease Training and Child Abuse Training a plus
- Attend mandatory professional development sessions teacher meetings and family events.
