Job Summary
JP Logistics & Consulting LLC (JPLC) is looking for a full-time Supply Technician Lead to support Picatinny Arsenal LRC Maintenance Supply and Transportation services that support the installations mission.
Salary:$ 41.03 per hour
Start Date: August 30 2026
Place of Performance: Picatinny NJ
Hours of Operation: The core hours for the LRC are 0700-1530 Monday-Friday/ except federal holidays. May be required to work outside of core hours as required.
Duties and Responsibilities:
This position performs limited aspects of technical supply management work (e.g. inventory management storage management cataloging and property utilization) related to depot local or other supply activities. Work usually is segregated by commodity area or function and controlled in terms of difficulty complexity or responsibility. Assignments usually relate to stable or standardized segments of technical supply management operations or to functions or subjects that are narrow in scope or limited in difficulty. The work generally involves individual case problems or supply actions. This work may require consideration of program requirements together with specific variations in or from standardized guidelines. Assignments require: (a) a good working knowledge of the governing supply systems programs policies nomenclature work methods manuals or other established guidelines; (b) an understanding of the needs of the organization serviced; and (c) analytical ability to define or recognize the dimension of the problems involved to collect the necessary data to establish the facts and take or recommend action based upon application or interpretation of established guidelines.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
- Performs limited aspects of technical supply management work such as inventory management and storage.
- Management cataloging and property utilization-related supply activities.
- Complies with established policies and procedures to support the program.
- Maintains cleanliness of the work center in accordance with Government/Company policies and instructions.
- Performs extensive research in different catalogs to obtain stock numbers.
- Processes codes and validates physical inventory counts and maintains inventory records.
- Investigates variations between recorded balances and physical counts.
- Picks Stows and Research.
- Research receipt line.
- Must have excellent communication skills including verbal and written.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of six years of related experience.
- Must be well-versed in the use of Microsoft Outlook Word and Excel. These programs will be used for communicating modifying and tracking information.
- Must be cleared for a Common Access Card.
- Must possess a valid drivers license.
- Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or GED certificate.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Be a citizen of the U.S.
- Possess the ability to read write speak and comprehend English.
- Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Possess knowledge and ability to perform simple arithmetic.
- Possess knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
- Possess excellent ability to manage multiple tasks with competing deadlines.
- Possess the ability to work with minimal Government oversight.
- Possess a valid drivers license.
