Job Description Summary:The Supply Chain Supervisor is responsible for leading and coordinating all site-level supply chain activities at the Endicott manufacturing facility. This role oversees production planning purchasing inventory management material flow logistics coordination and customer order fulfillment to ensure uninterrupted manufacturing operations and on-time customer Supply Chain Supervisor serves as the primary link between Operations Customer Service Engineering Quality and Suppliers ensuring materials resources and production schedules are aligned with customer demand and business objectives. Amphenol Industrial Operations consistently meets the highest global standards of quality product performance design capabilities and regionalized technical and sales Industrial Operations proudly operates as a business unit of Amphenol Corporation (NYSE: APH) a global leader in the electronics revolution headquartered in Wallingford Duties & Responsibilities:Supply Chain LeadershipLead develop and supervise site supply chain personnel including planners buyers schedulers and inventory control team departmental goals performance metrics and development a culture of accountability collaboration and continuous Planning & SchedulingLead development and execution of production schedules aligned with customer demand and manufacturing demand supply and production planning activities to support on-time delivery closely with Operations leadership to balance labor material availability and production daily and weekly planning meetings to review schedules shortages capacity constraints and delivery & Supplier ManagementOversee procurement activities to ensure material availability while balancing inventory supplier performance including quality delivery cost and with strategic suppliers to resolve shortages expedite critical materials and improve service supplier qualification and risk mitigation ManagementMaintain inventory accuracy through cycle counting inventory controls and transaction inventory strategies to optimize working capital while supporting customer service inventory health excess and obsolete inventory and inventory and resolve material discrepancies and inventory & Material FlowCoordinate inbound and outbound logistics efficient material movement throughout the facility to support manufacturing with warehouse and operations teams to improve material flow and reduce shortages and freight cost management and transportation Order FulfillmentMonitor order status and delivery performance to ensure customer commitments are with Customer Service and Sales teams regarding delivery schedules forecast changes and order escalation efforts for critical customer requirements and delivery recovery ExcellenceDrive continuous improvement initiatives utilizing Lean Manufacturing and Supply Chain best key supply chain metrics and implement corrective actions to improve ERP/MRP system optimization and data integrity and maintain standard operating procedures for supply chain :Education & Experience RequirementsRequiredBachelors degree in Supply Chain Management Business Operations Management Engineering or related field. Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in manufacturing supply chain planning purchasing or materials management. Minimum 2 years of leadership or supervisory experience. Experience working within ERP/MRP systems. Strong understanding of production planning procurement inventory management and in electrical components connectors cable assemblies industrial manufacturing or related certifications (CPIM CSCP) Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement supporting high-mix low-to-medium volume manufacturing Skills & AbilitiesStrong leadership and team development skills. Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities. Strong understanding of supply and demand planning concepts. Ability to make informed decisions in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Strong organizational and project management skills. Advanced proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Excel. Effective communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
