Northrop Grummans Space Sector invites you to bring your pioneering spirit to our inclusive team to join our Space Superiority Division (SSD) Global Supply Chain Proposal Team. As Principal Supply Chain Procurement Specialist youll be crucial to missions of paramount importance defining the art of the possible from day one.

This is a hybrid position can be located in one of the following sites:

Dulles VA
Gilbert AZ
This positions standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.

The desirable candidate is a strong leader with demonstrated procurement and supply chain management skills. This role will support Bid & Proposal activities across the suite of Northrop Grummans Space Superiority Division (SSD).

This role drives pre-award procurement activities by securing compliant pricing technical and delivery commitments from key suppliers in support of prime contract proposals - increasing the fidelity of piece-part pricing procurement planning & overall competitiveness of the bid.

Responsibilities Include:

Drafts reviews & executes Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) with strategic supply partners.
Authors & issues Requests for Information (RFIs) and/or Requests for Quotes (RFQs) to obtain supplier pricing & technical data.
Receives & reviews Consolidated Bill of Materials (CBOMs) for accuracy and completeness. Prioritizes high-dollar critical long-lead item and/or unpriced line items for RFIs/RFQs.
Evaluates supplier bids & establishes price reasonableness to support the prime proposals cost volume.
Collaborates with Capture Proposal Contracts Engineering & Material Estimating teams to align supplier capabilities with overall win themes.
Ensures adherence to frameworks like FAR/DFARS public law requirements export control requirements such as ITAR/EAR as well as company (and business) policies and procedures.
Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities
Basic Qualifications:

Bachelors degree and 5 years of relevant experience in supply chain purchasing subcontracts proposals or contracts. Or in lieu of a degree 9 years of relevant experience in supply chain purchasing subcontracts proposals or contracts.
Preferred Qualifications:

FAR/DFAR experience
Experience working with Bill of Materials (BOMs) with hundreds/thousands of line items
Experience working on bid & proposals
Costpoint/SAP knowledge
Primary Level Salary Range: $73900.00 - $128400.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidates experience education skills and current market conditions.
