Function Job Description

In Planning you will master the art ofoptimizingthe flow of goods across the entire supply chain. This rotation will expose you to critical areas such as demand forecasting production scheduling supply planning and inventory management strategies all aimed at ensuring products are available where and when consumers want them efficiently and cost-effectively minimizing waste and maximizing service.

Some of the key responsibilities for a Planning & Demand Intern include:

Develop and maintain regional demand plansby aggregating inputs from field teams marketing and sales to forecast product needs.

Coordinate supply planswith manufacturing and distribution partners to balance capacity and inventory.

Analyze forecast accuracy and bias identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.

Contribute to the S&OP processby presenting data-driven recommendations to senior stakeholders.

Monitor inventory levels and service performanceto optimize stock availability and reduce obsolescence.

Collaborate with procurementto translate demand signals into supplier orders.

Create scenario analysesfor potential disruptions and contingency options.

Prepare reports and dashboardshighlighting key supply chain metrics for leadership.

Requirements and Preferred Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelors Degree in: Supply Chain Supply Chain Management Operations Business Administration.
• Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree with a preferred expected graduation date between December 2027 and May 2029.
• Applicants for employment in the US must have work authorization that does not now or in the future require sponsorship of a visa for employment authorization in the United States and with Mondelēz International (i.e. H1-B visa F-1 visa (OPT) TN visa or any other non-immigrant status.

Compensation

• The expected compensation weekly pay ranges for interns is $900 - $1150 based on your expected graduation date.
• Compensation rates for Summer Interns is pre-determined and non-negotiable.

The base salary ranges for this position are shown below; the exact salary depends on several factors such as experience skills education and addition to base salary this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results.

Any other location base salary range: $59800
