Position Overview

We areseekinga highly drivenSupply Chain Managerto build and scale our supply chain operations from the ground up. This role willbe responsible forsourcing procurement supplier management andlogisticsacross a complex regulated environment. You will work cross-functionally with engineering manufacturing and program teams to ensuretimelyand cost-effective delivery of critical components.

This is a high-impact role ideal for someone who thrives in ambiguity moves quickly and understands the unique challenges of defense procurement.

What Youll Do:

Supplier Sourcing & Management

• Identify qualify and onboard suppliers for mechanical electrical and electronic components

• Develop andmaintainstrong supplier relationships including negotiating pricing lead times and terms

• Monitor supplier performance (quality delivery cost) and drive continuous improvement

Procurement & Planning

• Own the end-to-end procurement process (RFQs POs contract negotiations)

• Collaborate with engineering and production to forecast demand and manage inventory levels

• Mitigate supply risks and ensure continuity of critical materials

Defense Compliance & Regulations

• Ensure compliance with ITAR EAR DFARS and other applicable regulations

• Maintain proper documentation and traceability for defense-related components

Logistics& Operations

• Oversee inbound and outboundlogistics including domestic and international shipments

• Optimizeshipping strategies to balance cost speed and security

• Implement systems and processes to scale operations

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Partner with engineering on BOM optimization and design-for-supply-chain

• Support manufacturing with production readiness and material availability

• Work with finance on cost tracking and budgeting

What Youll Need:

• 8 years of experience in supply chain procurement or operations (defense aerospace or hardware startup preferred)
• Strong understanding of defense regulations (ITAR/EAR/DFARS)
• Experience sourcing complex components (electronics machined parts etc.)
• Proven ability to negotiate with suppliers and manage contracts
• Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems
• Ability tooperatein a fast-paced ambiguous startup environment
