Supply Chain Intern Trade & Customs Compliance

Fortune Brands Innovations is seeking a motivated and detail-orientated Supply Chain Intern to join our team. This internship provides a handson opportunity to learn how global trade works inside a corporate environment including import/export regulations customs classification trade analytics and compliance program management.  You will work alongside experienced trade professionals and support realworld projects that help ensure the company meets its regulatory obligations in the U.S. and abroad.

Position Location: This position is eligible for a hybrid schedule based in Deerfield IL

RESPONSIBLIITIES:

• Assist with import and export compliance recordkeeping activities.
• Support HTS Schedule B and ECCN classification research.
• Prepare reports and dashboards for internal stakeholders.
• Extract analyze and summarize traderelated data (imports exports suppliers countryoforigin).
• Assist with maintaining internal compliance procedures SOPs and training materials.
• Work with teams such as Logistics Procurement Engineering Supply Chain Legal and Quality to gather information for compliance initiatives.
• Attend team meetings project briefings and compliance training sessions.

Qualifications :

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program; degree focus in Business Organizational Management or Supply Chain preferred. 
• Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office programs (Word Excel PowerPoint etc.)
• Pro-active can take initiative in the absence of specific guidance.
• Demonstrates strong organization skills and attention-to-detail.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Excellent time management skills.
• High level of professionalism.

Additional Information :

Fortune Brands believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is Hiring Pay Range: $33300 USD - $45760 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range or be above or below the range based on factors including but not limited to education training experience professional achievement business need and addition to base salary employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance or a role-based sales incentive plan.
