Job Summary
The Supply Chain Data Assistant is responsible for supporting the accurate and efficient processing of direct shipments pricing information and product data. This position works closely with internal teams vendors and other business partners to ensure direct orders are processed correctly pricing information remains current and business data is maintained accurately within company systems.
The ideal candidate is highly organized detail-oriented comfortable working with large amounts of data and able to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Manage and process direct shipments ensuring orders and shipment information are entered accurately and completed in a timely manner.
Coordinate direct shipment information with vendors internal departments and other appropriate business partners.
Enter upload and maintain vendor price files within company systems.
Perform price list management including reviewing updating and maintaining accurate product and pricing information.
Manage and maintain product vendor pricing and other business-related data.
Review pricing files and data for accuracy completeness and consistency before entering or uploading information.
Identify and correct pricing product or data discrepancies and communicate issues to the appropriate team members.
Maintain accurate and organized records related to direct shipments pricing updates and data changes.
Assist with implementing vendor price changes and ensuring updated pricing is reflected accurately in company systems.
Perform routine audits of pricing and product data to identify outdated duplicate or inaccurate information.
Support data management initiatives by entering updating organizing and validating information within company databases and systems.
Work closely with Purchasing Sales Customer Service Accounting and other departments to resolve shipment pricing and data-related issues.
Prepare reports and spreadsheets as needed to support pricing and direct shipment activities.
Follow established procedures and internal controls related to pricing order processing and data maintenance.
Assist with special projects and other administrative or operational duties as assigned.
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelors degree in Business Supply Chain Accounting or a related field preferred.
Previous experience in order processing purchasing pricing data entry supply chain or a related administrative role preferred.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
Experience working with ERP or business management systems preferred.
Ability to work with spreadsheets pricing files and large amounts of data.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to identify discrepancies and troubleshoot data-related issues.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
