Supply Chain Analyst

Job Summary
The ideal candidate will blend analysis with hands-on execution to help our teams build machines on time. Working with Sales Engineering Purchasing and Operations youll improve forecasts right-size inventory and keep production movingall while minimizing excess and working capital.
Key Responsibilities
Â
- Develop and maintain inventory planning models (safety stock reorder points lot sizes) based on demand variability lead times and service-level goals; translate engineering releases into clean product structures and material plans aligned with sourcing strategy and project milestones.
- Monitor assembly orders and material availability to keep builds on schedule; flag risks early and drive mitigations through expedites substitutions and reallocations.
- Collaborate with Sales and Purchasing to optimize inventory levels that achieve on-time delivery while minimizing excess and obsolescence; process engineering change notices (ECNs) and allocate materials for post-release part additions.
- Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities across planning procurement and material flow to enhance efficiency and inventory turns.

Qualifications :
Basic Requirements                                                                                               Â
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; proven ability to navigate ambiguity and incomplete data.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables lookups basic modeling) with the ability to produce clear actionable analyses.
- Foundational understanding of bills of material (BOMs) product structures and MRP principles.
- Working knowledge of inventory planning techniques (e.g. safety stock reorder points lot sizing)
- Effective written and verbal communication skills; capable of translating quantitative findings into clear recommendations for cross-functional stakeholders.
- Self-directed with strong time management skills; able to prioritize and execute in a dynamic fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelors in Supply Chain Management Business Industrial Engineering or similar.
- Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems; familiarity with MRP exceptions and master data maintenance.
- Experience with Power BI or similar analytics tools
- APICS/ASCM certification (e.g. CPIM CSCP).
- Experience in manufacturing production control or assembly environments.
