Boeing Defense Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for anExperienced Supply Base Management Specialist to join our team inTukwila Washington.

This role will be Supplier Performance Statement of Work (SOW) for aircraft wiring. The role includes managing supplier requirements coordinating cross-functional teams and driving continuous improvement across the wiring supply base. This position also offers the opportunity to lead aspects of the team.

Position Responsibilities:

• Leads supplier/subcontractor business relationships in-service requirements and performance to contractual obligations and expectations
• Manages and monitors supplier quality delivery and financial performance
• Leads the development of mitigations plans to avoid risk and resolve issues impacting customers and programs
• Develops and implements supplier base plans to support customer program and commodity strategies
• Analyzes supplier and business processes and procedures to identify improvement opportunities and incorporate into contracting strategies
• Acts as primary point of contact for suppliers customers and programs

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Shift:

This position is for 1st shift.

This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements a U.S. Person as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.15 is required. U.S. Person includes U.S. Citizen lawful permanent resident refugee or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• More than 10 years of experience with Supplier Management or Procurement practices and processes
• More than 10 years of experience in negotiating contracts or managing supplier performance
• More than 10 years of experience managing suppliers/vendors to deliver products and services
• More than 10 many years of experience working in a multi-functional team environment

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Bachelors degree or higher
• More than 10 years of experience creating interpreting and/or enforcing technical requirements
• More than 10 years of experience in root cause analysis and Corrective action
• More than 5 years of experience working with U.S. Department of Defense contracts

Typical Education/Experience:

Typically 10 or more years related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor Master etc.) preferred but not required.
