This Supervisory Software Project Manager position supports the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Customs and Border Protection (CBP) in the area of Support Services. The mission-critical program provides comprehensive training safety standards curriculum development and technical modernization services to ensure national border security agents can operate safely and effectively.

Our specialized web application is the central hub for AMO flight records safety tools and online training 5. As the Software Project Manager you lead the technical team responsible for upgrading securing and modernizing this portal directly supporting the digital backbone of national border aviation.

What Youll Do (Key Responsibilities)

• Drive Software Delivery: Oversee the end-to-end planning execution and deployment of updates and enhancements to the critical tracking and reporting web portal.

• Agile Orchestration:Facilitatesprints backlog refinement standups and retrospective reviews for the software development team.

• Mitigate Risk:Identifysoftware-specific project risks security vulnerabilities and deployment hurdles designing swift effective mitigation plans.

• Client Alignment: Align technical roadmaps with CBP/AMO strategicobjectives providing regular updates to the software technical lead and stakeholders.

What You Bring (Qualifications)

• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of software development program or software project management experience.

• Methodologies: Deepexpertisein Agile/Scrum andDevSecOpsframeworks withproficiencyin tracking tools such as JIRA and Confluence.

• Education: Bachelors degree preferred.

• Clearance: Ability to obtain andmaintaina federal background suitability check.
