Join Thermo Fisher Scientific as a Supply Chain Supervisor and contribute to making the world healthier cleaner and this role youll develop strategies for material planning inventory management and vendor relationships while supporting operational excellence. Youll manage a team responsible for ensuring timely high-quality material delivery to support production needs. Working in a complex environment youll build strategic partnerships with vendors collaborate across functions and optimize supply chain processes. Your guidance will be essential in implementing continuous improvement initiatives maintaining compliance and supporting team members professional growth while creating an inclusive work culture focused on customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
REQUIREMENTS:
Advanced Degree plus 3 years of experience or Bachelors Degree plus 5 years of experience in supply chain logistics or materials management
Preferred Fields of Study: Supply Chain Business Administration Operations or related field
Additional relevant certifications in supply chain logistics or quality management a plus
Experience managing and developing teams in a manufacturing environment
Strong working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems and supply chain processes
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to interact effectively across all organizational levels
Experience with continuous improvement methodologies (Lean Six Sigma PPI)
Demonstrated ability to manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with data-driven decision making
Knowledge of import/export compliance and global trade regulations
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and supply chain management software
Ability to work in a matrix organization and international environment
Experience with inventory management and material planning
Fluent English communication skills (both written and spoken)
Strong customer service orientation with ability to manage multiple priorities
Knowledge of quality management systems and regulatory requirements
Experience implementing change management initiatives and process improvements
Compensation and Benefits
The salary range estimated for this position based in New Jersey is $90900.00$125000.00.This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company team and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
