This position is a part of LSG Operations and is located in Rockford IL. This role will lead coach and develop a Quality Assurance team supporting key quality activities across site operations. This role emphasizes collaboration partnership and a solutions-oriented approachworking cross-functionally to support the business while upholding quality standards.
- Ensure safety within the team and promote safe working behaviors
- Design mechanisms to track and analyze key quality metrics; update and present tier boards communicate performance to leadership and drive countermeasures for gaps
- Partner with Operations and cross-functional teams to support business objectives while proactively ensuring quality standards are met
- Evaluate performance of direct reports and work with them on development opportunities
- Oversee teams performing inbound inspection site metrology and preventive maintenance activities
- Oversee equipment calibration programs including scheduling and tracking (e.g. pipettes scales)
- Oversee generation of product documentation including Certificates of Analysis (CoAs) ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Ensure compliance with ISO standards and internal quality system requirements
- Plan support and lead audits and audit activities
- Manage customer complaints and partner cross-functionally to drive timely effective resolution
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of quality records documentation and training programs
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality systems and operational performance
- Construct presentations and deliver to leadership
- Other duties as assigned
- 5 years of experience in an operations and/or quality environment required
- Experience leading coaching or developing team members required
- Exposure to quality systems (e.g. inspections audits calibration and documentation) required
- Strong problem-solving decision-making and communication skills
- Intermediate computer skills to utilize Microsoft Office and ERP programs
- Successfully leading and developing a team
- Ability to work in an office manufacturing or laboratory environment as needed
- May require occasional lifting and extended periods of standing
- Ability to work some overtime as needed

Compensation and Benefits
The salary range estimated for this position based in Illinois is $75800.00$113675.00.This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company team and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
