Job Summary
Overview
The primary purpose of this position is guide production personnel in the fabrication assembly packaging and/or inspection of medical devices.
Responsibilities
- Employee engagement
- Coach and develop leaders
- Ensure compliance to quality system policies and departmentprocedures.
- Communicate expectations assignments and responsibilities clearly and professionally to leaders.
- Gather departmental data for departmental boards.
- Perform other duties and special projects as necessary. Accurately and efficiently document employee Time and Attendance Merit / Performance reviews Quality Workmanship and Disciplinary issues and monthly efficiencies.
- Must work and interact effectively and professionally with and for others throughout various levels of the global organization
- Must strictly adhere to safety requirements
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance
- Must maintain company quality and quantity standards
- Must have effective oral and written communication skills
- Excellent problem solving skills and ability to work in collaborative and independent work situations and environments with minimal supervision
- Ability to remain calm and receptive in fast paced situations
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year in house experience in medical device production.
- Ability to read/write/understand product documentation and specification drawings written in English.
- Ability to use small measuring devices and gauges.
- Basic computer entry/retrieval skills.
- Good organizational skills.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job with orwithout reasonable accommodations
Good manual dexterity & Visual Acuity to work with small parts
Majority of the day is spent frequently moving around/sitting in acontrolled environment
Ability to occasionally lift approximately 5 - 50 lbs.
Limited exposure to hazardous chemicals used in the manufacture of the product
