Were a team dedicated to improving patient outcomes through innovation collaboration and operational looking for a 2nd Shift Supervisor Manufacturing to provide hands-on leadership for commercial and development manufacturing operations at our Lexington Impact You Will MakeAs a 2nd Shift Supervisor Manufacturing you will lead on-the-floor shift execution for commercial and development manufacturing campaigns ensuring operations are performed safely effectively and in accordance with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) standards and regulatory will be responsible for developing and leading manufacturing technicians coordinating resources to meet production requirements driving department Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and leading change and continuous improvement is a highly visible floor-focused leadership role with greater than 50% of the workday spent providing direct leadership within the manufacturing successful candidate will exemplify Kindevas KIND Values: Kinetic Innovation Now and & Manufacturing OperationsPlan and manage commercial and development manufacturing campaigns coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and successful execution of production processes. Manage resource allocation including personnel equipment and materials to meet production schedules and goals. Lead mentor and develop a team of manufacturing technicians fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high performance. Lead shift execution to meet or exceed performance KPI targets including productivity quality and safety metrics. Provide visible and vocal leadership on the manufacturing floor for greater than 50% of the daily work period. Compliance & Quality AssuranceEnsure manufacturing processes and outputs meet the strict quality standards required for pharmaceutical products and medical devices. Maintain compliance with cGMP United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and other relevant regulatory requirements by enforcing proper documentation procedures and audit readiness. Conduct regular facility assessments and participate in internal and external audits addressing findings promptly. Change Management & Continuous ImprovementLead and manage change initiatives within the department including process improvements system upgrades and organizational changes. Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels to ensure effective shift-to-shift transitions that minimize disruption to operations. Monitor and assess the impact of changes on manufacturing performance. QualificationsRequiredHigh school diploma. 3 years of supervisory experience in cGMP pharmaceutical manufacturing. Proven leadership experience including staff management training and development. Strong understanding of cGMP regulations FDA requirements and other relevant industry standards. Demonstrated success in driving staff performance through KPIs and continuous improvement initiatives. Strong problem-solving decision-making and change management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. PreferredBachelors degree in a science or technical discipline. Experience with medical device manufacturing. Certification in Lean Six Sigma or related continuous improvement methodologies. Proficiency with manufacturing software and systems including Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) and OSI PI. Physical RequirementsAbility to regularly use hands to handle materials and supplies. Ability to use computers for extended periods each day. Ability to communicate effectively through telephone and electronic communication methods. Ability to regularly stand and walk for extended periods.
