We are seeking an experienced ICU Nursing Supervisor to lead and support our Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (CICU) team. Position Snapshot:
As the Nursing Supervisor for the CICU you will provide leadership and oversight to a 27-bed cardiac and medical critical care unit. This unit specializes in pre- and post-operative cardiac patients cardiomyopathy requiring mechanical circulatory support heart failure post-MI care and complex interventions such as IABP Swan-Ganz CRRT TTM DKA management pacemakers severe sepsis and respiratory failure.

Under the direction of the Nurse Manager or Director you will oversee daily unit operations ensure high-quality patient care and support staff in achieving clinical excellence.

What Youll Do:

• Oversee daily operations and nursing staff in the CICU

• Support Charge Nurses Relief Charge Nurses and bedside staff

• Ensure adherence to standards of nursing practice and patient safety

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality care

• Facilitate staff education training and professional growth

• Participate in clinical decision-making for complex cardiac cases

• Accurately document unit and patient care activities

What Youll Need:

• Bachelors Degree in Nursing (required)

• California RN License (upon hire)

• National Provider BLS (AHA) certification (upon hire)

• 2 years recent ICU or specialty area clinical experience

• Charge Nurse or Relief Charge Nurse experience

• Strong leadership communication and critical thinking skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Masters Degree in Nursing

• Previous formal leadership experience

• Base Salary: USD $141294 $223100
