Job Summary
CHI St. Alexius Health Dickinson part of CommonSpirit Heath a national nonprofit health system based in Englewood Colorado. The faith-based system operates in 18 states and includes 103 hospitals. As ourSupervisor Nutrition ServicesatCHI St. Alexius Health Dickinson you will helpour patients staff and the Nutrition Services teamreceive high-quality safe and efficient food serviceso they cansupport overall well-being and contribute to a positive healthcare experience.
Every day you willprovide operational leadership and strategic direction for all aspects of nutrition services. You will be expected tolead and mentor the team through hiring training and performance management; oversee daily work activities and staffing allocations; ensure rigorous quality food safety and sanitation standards are upheld; manage ordering and inventory; and foster exceptional patient and customer satisfaction.
To be successful in this role you mustpossess proven leadership and employee management experience thorough knowledge of food service operations with an emphasis on safety and sanitation and strong organizational and patient-centered skills.
Responsibilities:
- Lead mentor and develop the Nutrition Services team through comprehensive employee management goal setting and performance monitoring.
- Oversee daily and weekly work activities staffing and documentation to ensure operational excellence and departmental security.
- Uphold and enforce rigorous food safety sanitation and quality standards in compliance with all regulatory bodies.
- Promote outstanding patient and customer satisfaction by promptly resolving requests and ensuring needs are met.
- Actively collaborate with nursing leadership and other hospital staff to develop best practices and drive continuous improvement within the department.
Required:
- Completed high school or equivalent knowledge level.
- Minimum 3 years progressive experience in Food Service
- Associates degree in Culinary Arts or related field
- At least 2 years of management experience
- Servsafe Certification (SERVSAFE)-Must obtain within 12 months of hire if you dont already have it.
- Certified Dietary Manager (CDM)-Must obtain within 24 months of hire if you dont already have it.
