Job Summary

Description

The Line Service Supervisor provides handson leadership during assigned shifts to ensure safe efficient and highquality aircraft ground handling operations. This role oversees Line Service Technicians (LSTs) on duty coordinates aircraft and ramp activity and delivers exceptional customer service to aircraft owners guests and flight crews. While technical execution is a core responsibility the Line Service Supervisor sets the tone on the ramp through professionalism safety leadership and a positive customerfocused approach.

Aircraft Ground Handling & Ramp Operations

  • Coordinate all aircraft and ramp activity during assigned shifts including arrivals departures parking towing deicing and fueling
  • Ensure all aircraft receive required ground support services in a timely safe and efficient manner
  • Operate and oversee the use of aircraft ground support equipment in accordance with procedures and safety standards
  • Maintain strong situational awareness of ramp conditions FOD risks traffic flow and weather impacts
  • Perform technical line service duties as needed to support operational demand
  • Frequent walking standing sitting stooping stretching bending reaching and grasping
  • Regularly lift and/or move up to 75 pounds

Team Supervision & Shift Leadership

  • Assign and delegate work to qualified Line Service Technicians; monitor progress and quality of execution
  • Supervise LSTs on duty and provide direction coaching and realtime feedback
  • Assist the Line Manager with onboarding training and mentoring of new employees
  • Lead shift briefings to communicate priorities safety topics and service expectations
  • Complete shift reports and required operational documentation
  • Serve as acting Line Manager during assigned shifts when the Line Manager is not on duty

Safety Compliance & Operational Discipline

  • Actively support and participate in Modern Aviations ISBAH Safety Management System (SMS)
  • Identify and mitigate hazards to protect customers employees aircraft and equipment
  • Ensure compliance with all safety policies standard operating procedures and company guidelines
  • Exercise sound judgment and make timely decisions consistent with company policies and safety requirements
  • Maintain accountability for safety and procedural compliance during assigned shifts

Customer Service & Experience

  • Deliver Modern Aviations exceptional service by proactively assisting passengers and flight crews
  • Maintain a positive professional image with customers vendors partners and airport stakeholders
  • Anticipate customer needs offer additional services and support service recovery when needed
  • Promote teamwork professionalism and a highenergy service culture on the ramp

Communication & Coordination

  • Work closely with Customer Service and Operations teams to support a seamless customer experience
  • Communicate clearly and effectively during active operations
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Line Manager or General Manager



Qualifications
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong mathematical aptitude
  • Willingness and ability to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays
  • Valid drivers license
  • Ability to perform duties with minimal supervision
  • Prior customer service or aviation line service experience preferred
  • Basic knowledge of aircraft types and ground servicing practices preferred

Working conditions and physical demands for this role

While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is exposed to wet and/or humid conditions including extreme heat and cold; high precarious places; outside weather conditions and vibration; and chemicals including aviation fuels oils and lavatory fluid. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.

Aviations Pay Range

$23.00- $25.00 benefits.

The Modern Aviation pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job education experience knowledge skills and abilities as well as internal equity alignment with market data or other laws.
