Job Summary
The Accounting Supervisor oversees daily accounting and accounts payable activities ensuringtransactions reconciliations reimbursements and payment processes are completed accurately timely and in accordance with company policies and accounting standards. This role supervises and supportsteam members helps resolve non-routine issues and partners with Accounting Finance and businessstakeholders to support month-end close accurate financial reporting and effective internal controls.
Essential Functions
Description
- Leads and establishes operating procedures for the Accounts Payable teamto ensure accuracy of transactions. Oversees vendor invoice processingemployee reimbursements transaction accuracy and proper general ledgercoding. Provides direction to reporting team in accordance with establishedpolicies and procedures and serves as an escalation resource for non-routine transactions and reporting questions.
- Supervises coaches and develops direct reports by assigning workmonitoring performance supporting goal setting providing feedback andcontributing to performance reviews and corrective action processes inaccordance with company policy.
- Reviews employee expense reporting and reimbursement activity in Concurfor completeness accuracy policy compliance and appropriate coding priorto payment processing.
- Prepares and reviews general ledger entries and account reconciliations formonth-end close. Researches and resolves variances or discrepancies inpartnership with Accounting leadership.
- Maintains North American lease accounting records and related schedulesin accordance with ASC 842. Supports global lease accounting policyimplementation by preparing documentation coordinating requiredinformation and assisting with consistency of lease accounting practices.
- Prepares ad hoc journal entries reconciliations and financial analyses asrequested to support accurate financial reporting and management review.
- Reviews ACH and wire payment files for accuracy completenessauthorization and supporting documentation prior to release. Generatesand records vendor and customer receipts as required.
- Maintains and reviews fixed asset records and depreciation schedulesincluding additions disposals corrections and reconciliations to supportaccurate asset accounting and reporting.
- Supports U.S. cash forecasting by compiling accounts payable paymentaccrual and other relevant cash flow data for review by the GlobalController and Accounting leadership. Prepares accrual calculations andrelated analysis for assigned areas.
- Prepares monthly prepaid amortization schedules and Accounts Payableaccruals including supporting documentation and variance review tosupport timely and accurate month-end close.
- Coordinates with the Global Controller Assistant Controller and FP&A teamto review month-end financial results investigate unusual activity andsupport completeness and accuracy of financial reporting.
- Monitors Accounts Payable and assigned accounting activities to promoteconsistent processes timely completion of work accurate financial recordsand compliance with company policies accounting standards and internalcontrol expectations.

Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in Accounting Business or related field required.
- CPA Certification preferred.
- Minimum five (5) years in related accounting function required. Prior experience working for a multisite or global company preferred. Prior public accounting experience preferred.
- One (1) to three (3) years in supervisory or leadership role required.
Any equivalent combination of experience and education which clearly indicates the ability to perform theessential functions of the position may substitute on a year for year basis.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities
Travel Required: Yes up to 10% of the time.
Base Salary: $94600 - $100000
This range represents the low and high ends of this positions anticipated base salary range. The actual base salary will depend on numerous factors such as experience knowledge skills and location.
