The Supervisor Environmental Services is responsible for supervising the services team to ensure the cleanliness safety and efficiency of healthcare facilities. The role supervises EVS operations including staff scheduling training inventory management and quality control. The role enforces hospital sanitation standards supporting compliance with regulatory policies and fostering a positive work environment through coaching and professional development.

Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day EVS operations including staffing scheduling and supply management
- Maintain safety sanitation and infection control standards and conduct routine inspections
- Respond to patient staff and visitor service concerns professionally
- Lead coach and develop EVS staff supporting hiring onboarding and training
- Promote team morale accountability and a culture of excellence
- Support policy development process improvements and emergency preparedness
- Coordinate with Maintenance Engineering and vendors for facility and equipment needs
- Track departmental expenses and provide input for budgeting
Qualifications
Education:
- High school diploma or GEDrequired
Experience:
- Minimum 3 years in Environmental Services Housekeeping or facilities support in healthcare hospitality or institutional settings
- At least 1 year of team leadership experience including staff scheduling task delegation performance management and training preferred
