Supervisor Clinical Research

TheClinicalResearch Supervisoroverseesthe day-to-day clinical operationsofdesignatedwork unitproviding guidance and support to allied health clinical and support staff to ensure that quality patient focused care is delivered. The Clinical Research Supervisor is responsible for the coordination of all activities associated with implementing research protocols as follows.

1. Routinely interfaces with various departments to integrate the practice.

compliance with appropriate regulatory agencies andassurespracticeisincompliancewithprinciplesofGoodClinicalPractice.

3. Conduct budgetplanning and compliance.

4. Assure appropriate recruitment and retention of competent staff including staff development mentoring community involvement and participation in appropriate organizational committees

5. Working with the Clinical Research Manager and Research Administration to develop new programs and implementpoliciesandprocedures.

6. Possessstrongleadershipand supervisorycompetencywithfocus on communication skills and accountability to achieve an efficient safe and professional work environment. Participate in continuous quality improvement activities to assure consistent standard of practiceand patient careprovided.

Bachelors degree. Minimum 3-5 years clinical experience. Previous clinical research experience required. Previoussupervisoryorleadershipexperienceinhealthcaresettingrequired. In lieu of Bachelors degree an Associates degree with 7 years research experience or a high school diploma and 9 years research experience may be considered.

Strong leadership and problem-solving skills flexible hours which may include days evenings nights holidays and weekends. Able to work autonomously and collaboratively. Adaptscalmly to unpredictable situations within the patient care setting. Excellentverbalwrittenandlistening communicationskillsrequired. Strongcomputerskillspreferredincludingwordexcelanddatabaseuse.

SOCRA or ACRP certificationpreferred.
