Ensures that maintenance tasks and functions are carried out in compliance with the applicable requirements of the air carrier maintenance program and their inspection procedures manual. Provides training and development for DUTIES ANDRESPONSIBILITIES: Provides supervision guidance and prioritization to assigned team across multiple specialties and ATS that all work performed by self or those under their supervision including subcontractors is performed in an airworthy manner and in compliance with approved technical data and has had all maintenance steps customer package to ensure proper maintenance planning and execution ensuring application of FAA and customer requirements. Supervises the maintenance preventative maintenance or alteration of or approve and return to service any aircraft or part communication to Leads and crew as needed which may include aircraft safety planning and material on order and coordinates with internal support organizations to ensure necessary product and services can be delivered when Engineering priorities. Works with Engineering Dept to ensure responses support aircraft delivery milestones. Responsible for keeping all assigned areas clean and audit ready. Identifies and eliminates hazards that pose a risk to employee safety and quality of work. Ensures compliance with safety for on-time delivery and adjustments to aircraft delivery routine and non-routine labor hours prior to exceeding allotted estimated maintenance labor requirements between skill sets on projects and in conjunction with other maintenance lines to ensure most efficient utilization of labor and aircraft status with customers using ATS schedule tools and in person and follows budget review plans for assigned aircraft and ensures targets are met. Communicates variances with mechanics are properly trained and assists mechanics in proper procedures methods and practices to be followed in each respective duty. Continuously evaluates the OJT changes to processes to improve efficiencies and AND EXPERIENCE: Minimum of five (5) years recent commercial aircraft maintenance and/or MRO experience of two (2) years aircraft maintenance leadership experience or Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) certification EFFORT AND DEXTERITY: While performing the duties of this job the employee will be required to sit stand and walk; use their hands and arms; and talk or hear; and focus on objects close up. The employee may be required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 base salary for this position is $ annually exclusive of benefits or potential bonuses. This position is eligible for an annual corporate bonus. If you are hired at ATS your final base annual rate will be based on factors such as skills education and/or addition to those factors we consider internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range noted above is the full base annual range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future and continued salary growth. We also offer a generous benefits package as detailed below.
