Job Summary
SummaryJoining Balfour Beatty as a Superintendent in our Georgia team you will be responsible for the overall direction completion of construction projects assigned to you with specific focus on K-12 projects. You will have deep field leadership experience as well as the ability to deliver high-performance results on technically challenging and high profile projects ensuring quality profitability and adhering to our Safety/Zero Harm FunctionsField Leadership: Manage all daily site operations including supervision of subcontractors coordination of construction activities enforcement of safety protocols and execution of the project Management:Develop and maintain detailed look-ahead schedules; drive progress to meet critical milestones and proactively resolve conflicts and Assurance:Ensure all work is performed to high standards in accordance with plans specifications building codes and owner Oversight:Enforce site safety policies and maintain compliance with OSHA and company standards; conduct regular safety meetings and Coordination:Collaborate closely with project managers engineers architects consultants and client representatives to maintain alignment and ensure clear & Reporting:Coordinate with local authorities for inspections and approvals; maintain daily logs safety documentation and progress you will needMinimum 10-15 years of commercial construction/design and field leadership School Diploma or strong understanding of all elements of commercial construction phases and the ability to guide and manage each phase of a experience building and managing ongoing relationships with subcontractors and to read and interpret complex drawings submittals and technical communication leadership and problem-solving experience with project manager software (Constructware P6 Timberline etc.).Preferred ExperienceK-12/Higher Education projects experience are preferred $10-30MBachelors degree in Construction Management Construction Engineering or Architecture preferred.
