Liberty POST is currently seeking motivated and energeticEarly Childhood Special Education Teachers for summer employment to work with children who are birth-5 years old through Early Intervention and Preschool Special Education programs. Liberty POST has offered its clients a range of high-quality and individualized services since 1994. Backed by Liberty Resources Inc. and part of a large social services circle originally POST was a speech-language practice in Syracuse NY and has grown to provide a range of services throughout New York State and Indiana. We employ over 500 professionals in a variety of settings and offer a collaborative team approach to provide evaluation direct therapy and family education through child-directed play. We are focused on the importance of a childs natural learning environment a familys unique strengths and needs and the diverse population we Duties and Responsibilities:Evaluate monitor and track childs progress and adjust treatment plans and evaluate childs abilities to determine realistic information on the initial evaluation treatment and progress in a timely manner using Electronic Medical Record at writing detailed analysis and organize and maintain confidentially of childs records and other all state laws and regulations as it pertains to Early Intervention CPSE/CSE special Knowledge and Experience:Current New York State Licensure and/or Certification in Special EducationEarly Childhood ExperienceValid Drivers LicenseNYS Teaching certification in B-2nd grade students with disabilities (or permanent certification in Special Education)Great interpersonal and communication skillsBenefits for this position:Accrual of sick time based on NYS Sick time LawsWork with a team of professionals that care about making a differencePayment is biweekly with direct depositJob Type: Full-time (center-based 2 month Summer Program)Pay Rate: $28-$32/hourLiberty POST is an equal opportunity employer.
